TECNO Debuts its Starry Optical Fiber Technology at CES 2025

At CES 2025, TECNO introduced its new 'Starry Optical Fiber Technology,' which combines ultra-fine optical fibers and mini-LED lights in the battery cover of smartphones; this innovation demonstrates the company’s progress in enhancing device design using advanced materials.

The technology includes "150 ultra-thin optical fibers, each just 0.125mm in diameter, woven through 36 small holes in the cover—these fibers are securely attached with UV adhesive, forming a fabric-like structure." Additionally, 108 mini-LED lights are placed within the cover, creating a bright, eye-catching display.

The technology is designed to use minimal power while keeping the smartphone's battery life strong. It also helps to dissipate heat, ensuring the device stays cool and performs well during extended use. Moreover, this new technology has the potential for use in various devices, such as smartphones and tablets for user versatility.
