Starbucks Japan Gyokuro Matcha Comes in Two Options

— December 24, 2025 — Lifestyle
The Starbucks Japan Gyokuro Matcha menu is a new series of premium refreshments hitting the brand's participating locations in Japan to help end the year on a decidedly rich, umami note. The menu includes the Gyokuro Matcha Frappuccino and Latte, which are both made with the premium-grade gyokuro matcha that's reported to have a deep flavor with subtle sweetness thanks to its late spring harvest. The tea is quite rare with less than 1% of the tea grown in Japan being labeled gyokuro, which thus increases its rare nature.

The Starbucks Japan Gyokuro Matcha menu comes in tall sizes only with the latte priced at 650 yen and the Frappuccino coming in at 700 yen. The drinks will only be on offer starting December 26, 2025 for a limited time.
