Managerial Support Cafe Roles

The Starbucks Coffeehouse Coach Role is Arriving in the US

The Starbucks Coffeehouse Coach role is being launched by the cafe brand after a successful trial nationwide to provide individual locations will strong leadership support. The full-time role was first introduced as part of a pilot project at 62 locations in the US and will now see more than 300 positions opened up with thousands more expected by the end of the year. The role is positioned as an assistant manager-inspired opportunity and will thus support coffeehouse leaders with additional coverage through the day, while also helping Starbucks partners develop in real-time for greater overall consistency across the brand.

The Starbucks Coffeehouse Coach role also comes as an opportunity for hourly baristas to enter into leadership for a clearer, more concise trajectory.
