Not everyone on dating apps are seeking long-term relationships, and Tinder's Spring Break feature acknowledges that by helping users find flings while on winter vacation.
The app's new feature is connecting young people on vacation with other college-aged kids in the same area. The feature consists of a Spring Break Badge that users can customize. These badges include over 20 popular vacation destinations. After selecting a location, the badge will appear on the user's profile, visible to all of one's matches. This means that those that have matched with one in the past will be aware of where they're headed for the mid-semester break, prompting those going to the same location to meet up abroad.
