Chuck E. Cheese recently combined two beloved comfort foods into a single dish called the Spaghetti & Meatball Pizza. While the concept of putting unusual toppings on a pizza is nothing new, this chain has gone a step further by combining two separate dishes into one hybrid entree.
The new Spaghetti & Meatball Pizza consists of a traditional hand-stretched pizza crust topped with spaghetti noodles, mozzarella, marinara sauce and meatballs. While both dishes are Italian in origin, each has become a staple for many American consumers. As a result, the hybrid dish offers a new twist on American-style comfort food.
