Metirionic GmbH's Bluetooth® Channel Sounding Evaluation Kit integrates the brand's Advanced Ranging Stack with Nordic Semiconductor’s nRF54L15 — a multiprotocol radio featuring an embedded MCU, 1.5 MB NVM, and 256 KB RAM. The Advanced Ranging Stack leverages Bluetooth Channel Sounding to deliver real-time distance estimation with up to 10cm accuracy, which outperforms traditional methods like Phase-Based Ranging and Round-Trip Time by effectively mitigating multipath interference.
The solution is optimized for low power consumption and scalability. This makes it suitable for a wide range of applications, including industrial IoT, logistics, secure access, and asset tracking.
