Inaugural Red Wine Blends

Knight's Crest Delivers the Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon

Knight's Crest has entered the wine market with its inaugural offering, the 2023 Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon. This red blend seeks to challenge the notion that premium quality must come with a prohibitive price tag.

The debut of the 2023 Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon presents a composition of 88% Cabernet Sauvignon and 12% Petite Sirah, with the majority of the fruit sourced from the Chalk Hill appellation within Sonoma County. This is complemented by a smaller contribution from Mendocino. The wine spent 30 months in French oak barrels, half of which were new. This approach imparted layers of cedar, cocoa, and baking spice to the aromatic profile, which also features dark berries and plum. On the palate, the structure is defined by supple tannins and a balanced acidity that supports the concentrated fruit.
