California-based company Tortoise Gear is producing a solar-powered filtration system that can be used nearly anywhere. While clean drinking water is a necessity, it is difficult to access in remote areas. This new filtration system makes it easier for campers and hikers to access clean drinking water anytime.

The new kit is called the 'SOL Water Bag' and operates through the use of UV power. To use the solar-powered filtration kit, simply fill the bags with water and lay them in the sun. Depending on how powerful rays are, the water will take three to 24 hours to purify. The bags are made from a durable plastic that is entirely free from BPA, DHP and Phthalates.
