A number of devices have been designed to help those with the visually impaired, and now comes the Soft Pet, a phone that will respond to your call -- the same way your pet would.
The Soft Pet, designed by Zhao Cheng, Liu Xiangcheng, Li Hui, Feng Lu, Yan Hong and Wen Hualiang, offers a call-and-respond feature that makes it easy locatable. You just give the Soft Pet a name, and it will respond to that name when you call for it, making it easy for a visually impaired person to locate. It also has the typical features of a device for the visually impaired, such as braille buttons and voice activation.
Designed with a silicone finish, the Soft Pet feels soft and smooth so it's comfortable to hold, and it also features a large charging cradle that allows you to charge the phone without having to connect any wires.
