The Snow Foldable Helmet is Designed to Fit Any Head

The Snow Foldable Helmet from Carrera is a lot like the foldable bike helmet the company released last year. However, unlike the bike helmet, this ski helmet doesn’t take the shape of an accordion. Instead, it features a stationary midsection with two sides that can pull out to accommodate heads of varying sizes. The sides can be pulled independently, meaning that those who have uniquely shaped heads won’t have to worry about the helmet fitting everyone but them.

In addition to taking up less space (Carrera says the helmet shrinks 20 percent in size when fully compressed) and fitting a variety of heads, the Snow Foldable Helmet also sports improved ventilation and ear pads that are both removable and machine washable. Carrera’s flexible skiing helmet comes in five different colors and information pricing and availability have not yet been released.
