Artist Cloakwork has created a line of sneaker illustrations that are sure to raise a few eyebrows within the sneaker community. These vibrantly designed images feature popular sneaker silhouettes sporting a variety of their previous designs and colorways.
Inspired by Nike's 'What The...' series, Cloakwork illustrated five sneaker silhouettes with over-the-top details, paying homage to its past releases. While Nike is no stranger to a mashup sneaker, other brands have never rendered any of their sneakers with a collage of previous detail. Utilizing brands such as Jeremy Scott x Adidas, Reebok, ASICS, Visvim and Vans, Cloakwork was able to recreate such iconic silhouettes as Vans' Sk8-Hi and Reebook's Instapump Fury with detail of their past releases.
While none of the aforementioned brands have ever produced a mashup shoe, sneaker enthusiasts now have a glimpse of what they might look like.
