Espresso Shot Smoothies

Smoothie King Launched its Proprietary Espresso Shot Add-On

Smoothie King launched its proprietary Smoothie King espresso shot option across its entire range of stores. Customers are able to add the espresso shot to any cold brew coffee or smoothie on the menu for a small additional fee. Each espresso shot for a smoothie contains 159mg of caffeine and each cold brew shot contains 83mg of caffeine, as the coffee is already caffeine-filled.

With this new espresso shot add-on, Smoothie King is aiming to compete with popular coffee vendors, such as McDonald's, for a morning coffee offering. However, due to Smoothie King's real ingredients and healthy menu items, it is posing itself as a better-for-you morning beverage option.

In celebration of the launch of the new proprietary espresso shots, Smoothie King is offering its 20-oz espresso shot smoothies or cold brews for $5 USD for a limited time.
