Frederic Bruneau, Nicolas Bruneau and Michael Raven have developed a child-friendly wristband that's intuitive to use, and actually encourages youth to step away from video games, iPads and their parents' electronics. The simple and playful interface features the animated character Miiya, who changes form according to the level of physical activity of its wearer. The mascot wakes up from its virtual slumber after about 30 minutes of exercise in one day, and transforms into a weight-lifting creature after 1 hour. This smartwatch for kids facilitates activity tracking by tagging, and sends information to parents about their little ones' daily fitness and location.
