Henkel Unveiled Smartwash Technology at CES 2025

At CES 2025, Henkel officially unveiled its Smartwash Technology, an AI-driven, cartridge-based detergent dosing system for power washing machines and dishwashers. Henkel's Smartwash laundry concept machine offered a look at the future of laundry care, where smart technology takes on the task of adding the right amount of detergent at the right times during multiple wash cycles.

As Henkel detailed in a press release, gleaning from a global insight screener, 71% of consumers are unsure about what detergents to use and 57% have doubts about how much to dose. Smartwash intelligently solves these problems by selecting the optimal washing configurations for each load, effectively reducing work and waste while supporting superior performance.

The Smartwash Technology will also be shown at the upcoming American Cleaning Institute Annual Meeting & Industry Convention in Orlando.
