Stellantis and Amazon Team Up to Create 'SmartCockpit' EVs

Automotive manufacturing company Stellantis has teamed up with Amazon to work on a range of green delivery technologies, including Stellantis' new digital cabin platform, STLA SmartCockpit. The latter collaboration sees the eco-conscious automaker opting to use Amazon Web Services as the cloud provider for its vehicles. According to the company, the STLA SmartCockpit will be installed in millions of Stellanits vehicles beginning in 2025.

The exciting new software aims to create more personalized experiences for Stellantis drivers via a range of AI-enabled features. These include a built-in Alexa voice assistant, high-tech navigation, vehicle maintenance monitoring, and integrated payment services. In addition, the vehicles can be integrated with Amazon's smart home and security services, allowing passengers to manage and monitor their homes from the car.
