Reolink Partners with Homey, Athom's Smart Home Platform

— April 8, 2026 — Tech
Reolink has announced official integration with Homey, the smart home platform from Athom. This venture will allow Reolink cameras to function as active triggers within automated routines in residential settings. Through this connection, events detected by Reolink's built-in artificial intelligence for recognizing people, pets, and vehicles can initiate what Homey calls Flows, which are sequences of actions involving other smart devices from over a thousand different brands. For instance, when a camera identifies a person in the backyard, Homey's smart home platform could automatically turn on patio lights, close living room blinds, lock doors, and trigger additional cameras to record, all without any manual input from the user.

Beyond acting as triggers, the integration also allows homeowners to receive doorbell and motion notifications directly within the Homey app, capture snapshot images during events, activate camera spotlights and sirens, and adjust pan tilt, and zoom angles through the same interface.
