The New LG Smart Fridge Can Produce Ice Balls for Cocktails

The new LG smart fridge is titled the Instaview and it features WiFi connectivity. The smart fridge has a $4,400 price point.

The LG fridge also features a dual ice maker, which can make standard ice and also slow-melting ice balls. The ice balls are slow melting and intended for cocktails. LG has titled the ice balls, LG's exclusive Craft Ice™, and they are automatically produced in the fridge's ice maker. LG notes that the ice balls can be used for more than just cocktails, the ice balls could also be used in iced coffee or soft drinks. The fridge is also able to produce crushed ice and normal ice.

The fridge's capabilities make it a unique option for home appliances.
