The washing machine features a sliding door that will rise upwards instead of outwards to streamline access for a user in a wheelchair, while also boasting a drum that's at the optimal height for loading or unloading. A sensor in the front of the washing machine will activate the door to allow for opening and closing without the need for any physical manipulation.
