This Video from IN-Q Outlines the Importance of Voting in the US
Riley von Niessen — October 6, 2016 — Pop Culture
The 2016 presidential election has been controversial to say the least, with many Americans not loving their options either way, however in a slam poetry video from IN-Q, a well-renowned public speaker and performer, it's shown that it's incredibly important that those who can take the time to do so come November.
As Adweek reports, the video is geared most specifically to the Millennial generation, given that many of them are first-time voters who might need a reminder of their role in a truly democratic society.
Although IN-Q never mentions Donald Trump by name, he speaks specifically to his antics and the problems that are associated with them and calls him both a "sociopath" and a "villain." In reference to Donald Trumps slogan, "Make America Great Again," IN-Q's slam poetry video states "I am voting for our future by not voting for our past."
