The Shwood Canby Bushmills sunglasses are intriguing for a couple of reasons. Not only are they utterly good-looking, they have been crafted out of genuine White Oak Irish whiskey barrels. A limited edition collection, these sunglasses even come packaged in a custom wooden whiskey crate and a crowbar to pry it open with to further the vintage alcoholic theme.
A collaboration with between eyewear manufacturer Shwood, Boston boutique Bodega and Bushmills Irish Whiskey, the Shwood Canby Bushmills sunglasses follow previous collaboration projects that involved brands such asPendleton and Ransom. Handcrafted in Portland, Oregon, only 100 of these sunglasses have been produced.
Carl Zeiss lenses update the upcycled, 100 years old four-ply wood frames of the Shwood Canby Bushmills sunglasses in addition to its classic design.
