CoreFX is bringing more stable creatine to drinks and gummies with 'CreaSHLD-IN,' a shielded ingredient for beverage and supplement brands developing those formats. Built on the 'CoreNhanced BioJourney' platform, it uses a proprietary barrier to keep creatine dispersed in liquids and intact in gummies.
In side-by-side mixing with creatine monohydrate, CreaSHLD-IN produced a more uniform drink with less settling after 15 minutes. Separate 24-hour tests in hot water and stomach-like conditions found no detectable creatinine. Gummy trials returned 99% recovery in pectin and 100% in gelatin. CoreFX will present it at booth 1945 in Las Vegas during SupplySide Global next week.
The 24-hour stability data gives beverage and supplement companies a clearer path to ready-to-drink and chewable creatine products. Near-complete gummy recovery widens its fit across pectin and gelatin builds, reducing a key formulation hurdle.
