Spanx is about to make skinny jeans a lot more literal with their new line of shaping jeans. While the shapewear retailer already carries denim leggings (or jeggings) in cropped and full length versions, they will soon be selling real denim jeans that will ensure a smooth fit.
In an interesting move, this means for this product the company will likely be moving away from compression garments. The shaping jeans will be made out of a Lycra blend, cotton and polyester. The denim Spanx will be more focused on a better cut and fit, while also making the wearer look slimmer and more toned. They will available in three different cuts as well (skinny, bootleg and straight-leg) and two styles with either a stomach panel or side-zippered high waist.
