When Shake Appeal set out to create their Fall/ Winter 2009 lookbook they found inspiration in the work of Charles Darwin's groundbreaking book “The Origin of Species.”

While the clothing is brilliant yet easy to wear, one can't help but notice the beautiful locations which the lookbook was photographed in. The locations are so exotic that they almost distract from the clothing! Shake Appeal is designed by Chanachai Ohpanayikool.

Implications - Designers pull from a variety of time periods to inspire modern collections, and consumers get excited about styles that recapture popular trends of decades past with a modern twist. Fashions inspired by iconic styles of the past that are simple and easy to work with offer something for every taste. Designers that recycle old styles and turn them into something fresh and new appeal to the broadest range of consumers.
