From Software hosted an announcement trailer for the release date and details surrounding its previously-announced 'Shadow of the Erdtree' expansion, this time including the Shadow of the Erdtree Collector's edition. The DLC itself will add new areas, items, abilities, and bosses to the critically-acclaimed action RPG, including the face of the DLC: Messmer The Impaler.
To further showcase the importance of Messmer to the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion, FromSoftware has included a detailed 46cm figurine of the boss in the collector's edition. Aside from this figurine, the collector's edition includes a 40-page artbook, the official soundtrack, a download code for the DLC, and a special display box. This collector's edition will release on June 21st, 2024, alongside the regular add-on. The regular DLC retails for $55 CAD, or roughly $40 USD. The price of the collector's edition has not yet been announced.
