The Shabd Simon-Alexander SS11 collection has completely changed my perceptions of tie-dye forever. As a child of the late 80s and early 90s, I was at one point bombarded with images of psychedelic tie-dye patterns in vibrant colors. Yet this line shows a softer, almost ethereal side of tie-dye.
An eco-conscious collection, the Shabd Simon-Alexander SS11 line offers the perfect outfits for spring. Light and airy, the New York-based designer's overall work is inspired by the folk costume tradition of beginning one dress with the remnants from the last.
