Segregation of Joy is the name of a project, designed by Govert Flint, that comprises a skeletal seat that allows you to adopt different postures and move freely whilst working. The vast majority of furniture that we use, whether at home, work or in public settings, forces us to maintain a largely static posture. This is now recognized to be bad for both your physical and mental health.
The Segregation of Joy chair was designed to get rid of these issues, whilst still being comfortable to use when working on a computer. The exoskeleton chair allows you to shift your body's point of gravity to move your computer mouse, and kick the air to click your computer mouse.
This chair has a wide variety of applications as a futuristic office chair of the distant future or as a solution for public settings involving people interacting with computers.
