Liang Yao (苦 口) designed the Scratch-Off mouse concept. This is a functional and stylish computer mouse that is made to scratch off slowly to unveil a design underneath. The mouse is developed with lightweight materials. Traditionally, products already deteriorate over time so this mouse optimizes on the inevitable as the scratch-off build adds an extra layer over the mouse's actual design.
This works similarly to lottery scratchcards as the temporary material on top will unveil something for an exciting experience. This process makes for great advertising opportunities to place logos or other motifs hidden under the first layer of the mouse's surface. It could take weeks or months before the outer cover is peeled off completely.
