Futuristically Experimental Photography

Jorg Rothhaar's Scientist Project Series is Electrifying

There is something experimentally electrifying about the Scientist Project photo series. The fact that it centers around a futuristic science lab theme really makes this spread seem very sci-fi-inspired. However, the shoot isn't overwhelmed with science fiction. Instead, there are steampunk elements that remind me of the set designs in 'The Golden Compass' film.

Shot by Hamburg-based photographer Jörg Rothhaar, the Scientist Project photo series is set to appear in STREETWEAR TODAY MAGAZINE's issue No. 36. Full of great hipster fashion looks, this editorial was able to include inspiration for two completely different age groups in a unique yet organic way. Presenting a mentor and student relationship, the models in the Scientist Project photo series really feed off of each other's style.
