Working together with a team of highly skilled rocket scientists and astronauts, Thesis Couture has set out to solve the age-old problem of painful stilettos through their new scientifically engineered high heel designs. The brand intends to create the world’s first high performance, high fashion heels, which will address the issues of both comfort and style at the same time. Founder and CEO Dolly Singh explains that she noticed a lack of emphasis on research and development in the fashion industry, which led her to investigate how structural engineering could address the issue of painful shoes.
Traditionally, high heels are made with a thin metal plate, which is not ideal for standing on for long periods of time. In contrast, the new designs by Thesis Couture utilize advanced polymers in the architecture of the shoe, in order to provide a better weight load distribution. Through their reengineering, Thesis Couture and his team claim to have settled the age of dilemma of comfort versus style, with a shoe that is both stylish and wearable.
