There are a total of four projects from Samsung's in-house idea incubation program, C-Lab Inside, that will be debuting at CES 2021 and one of those is an IoT device and solution called Scan&Dive. As it stands, the best place to find fabric care information is on a garment or product's physical tags but Scan&Dive offers a more modern approach to fabric classification and optimal care recommendations.
The device functions like a scanner and helps to provide people with a better sense of how to wash their clothes or other delicate items. The smart tool has the potential to help consumers get more out of their fabric items by knowing how to appropriately care for them over the long term.
