This fashion film shot by visionary Alex Antolino for Spanish designer Luis Manteiga had its debut in Barcelona yesterday, as a way of showcasing the designer's new SAYAT NOVA summer collection. The video seems to tell the story of the coming together of two young lovers after some apocalyptic disaster has taken place and wiped the world of any other humanity.
The clothing featured in these moving images, as well as in the photographic ones captured by Alejandro Sonoro, offer for a modern interpretation of desert styles. Long, draping, soft-hued garments are caught wonderfully both in film and print, providing for movement and texture. The SAYAT NOVA line is luxurious, yet understated, and makes for the perfect look for a couture road-trip across a desert highway.
