Ahead of CES 2022, Samsung unveiled a new 4K monitor lineup, including the Samsung Smart Monitor M8. This new smart monitor succeeds the Smart Monitor M7 that launched in 2020 and it sets itself apart with a form that's about three-quarters thinner than the previous design. The flat-back design boasts a 32-inch 4K display and an integrated SmartThings IoT Hub. With this built-in smart home hub, the monitor gives users the power to see a floor map of smart home devices that can easily be controlled from this central location.

The M8 also introduces a new Workspace feature for easily using work-related web services such as Microsoft 365. Ideal for remote work, the Samsung Smart Monitor M8 also includes a built-in video calling application.
