Rocking their Sailor Moon hair, the ladies had their long locks parted down the middle and pulled back into symmetrical, high pony-tails, braided down their backs, swinging behind them as they strutted down the runway.
Implications - Whether it's the storylines or the art itself, anime is dominating the cartoon world. The entertainment industry has taken note of this rise in popularity by trying to replicate its style with cartoons like Avatar: The Last Bender. The influx of Japanese/Asian influences are demonstrating consumers' acceptance of other cultures, which brands can take note of should they need to look for inspiration in a world outside of theirs.
