Jorge Paez Designs the Reinterpreted RYTM Turntable

Jorge Paez is an industrial designer who created a new modern interpretation of the classic RYTM record player. The new look retains the vertical slat appearance and integrated linear arrangement. The new update also features a set of three user controls which can be found resting between the slats along the right of the integrated tone arm.

It adjusts the functions of power on and off, volume adjustment, and the altering between 33/45 rpm speeds. In terms of the visual design, there are touches of red for a pop of tonal contrast. Overall, the turntable has an industrial theme along with the tone arm's counterbalance and the on-and-off switch. Another influence is the 1957 Beaun SK4/1 turntable.
