Disastrous Dollhouse Fashion

The Ruby Aldridge Vogue Italia Shoot is Chromatically Creepy

Colorful dollhouse fashion becomes a family affair in the Ruby Aldridge Vogue Italia October 2011 photoshoot, appropriately titled 'Home Chic.'

Lensed by the model's half-brother Miles Aldridge, the eerie editorial shows Ruby sporting a vibrant array of casual '60s housewife-inspired ensembles in an eclectic dollhouse dream kitchen. The photoshoot, however, doesn't show a picture-perfect play land, as the blonde Ruby poses with broken dishes, an overflowing sink and leaky plumbing.

Holding a butcher's knife with a threatening glare, Ruby is not your standard Barbie, despite her immaculate hair and makeup. The edgy twist on this fairytale editorial makes the photoset one of this year's most memorable, and showcases the Aldridge family's incredible talents.
