In the game, Frye uses his awesome rope launcher to do all sorts of things, most notably scale buildings.

Inventor Colin Furze, who has created some awesome things in the past, has gone about building a real rope launcher device that uses a carbon dioxide canister to propel the rope, and a motorized winch to help hoist you up.

The rope launcher was created as part of a promo for Ubisoft, and is a great example of DIY innovation and branding coming together in a big way.
