The Rokid X-Craft 5G has been shown off as an upcoming piece of equipment for professionals to incorporate onto their helmet as a way to maintain connectivity to the digital world from any high-risk environment.
The headset has an explosion-proof design that's ATEX Zone 1 certified, and ideal for use in the electric power, oil, gas, aviation or rail industries. Equipped with a 5G connectivity module, the headset uses augmented reality (AR) and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to equip professionals with the information they need from the Yoda OS-XR operating system.
The Rokid X-Craft 5G has 4GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage and has a 10,000mAh battery within that's rated for up to eight-hours of use per charge. The headset has a 40-degree field-of-view with a maximum brightness level of 1,600-nits.
