Robotic Fry Cook Incorporations

White Castle Hired Miso Robotics' Automated Cook at 100 Locations

White Castle has announced that it will now be using Miso Robotics' robot fry cook, the 'Flippy 2,' at 100 locations across the United States. White Castle initially tested the Flippy in 2020 before opting for a different version known as the 'Flippy Robot-on-a-Rail' (ROAR). The Flippy ROAR testing was successful, leading to White Castle continuing to work with Miso Robotics.

The quick-service restaurant believes that the adoption of an automated fry cook at several restaurant locations will not only improve the efficiency of service, but also the contactless experience of customers and the work environment for team members. Customers can be assumed that their orders will be prepared by a sanitary, food-safe robot, and employees can rest easy knowing that some of the on-job tasks are covered by artificial intelligence and automation.

White Castle prides itself on being at the forefront of restaurant technologies, so its adoption of Miso Robotics will likely pave the way for future restaurants and foodservice trends.
