Owners of Tesla vehicles will soon have the ability to use pictures to make repair requests. The company announced on its Twitter that its customers who use the Tesla app to make repair requests can now attach a photo of damages. Photos of the car's damage will help technicians get a more accurate idea of how to best repair the car. This will also help technicians to ensure they bring the correct tools to in-home service appointments.
The streamlined repairs feature on the Tesla mobile app was in order to address customer feedback, where fast repairs were a point of emphasis. Previously the company made the repair process streamlined by offering in-home repairs, and the Tesla app will add further convenience to Telsa owners in need of service. It is clear the company wants to improve the repairs process.
