The Renovo coupe is a vehicle, fitted with a classic Shelby body and an electric powertrain, that was unveiled by California start-up Renovo Motors at CES 2015. This vehicle has the peculiar but interesting combination of an authentic Shelby body, 500-horsepower electric powertrain and Nvidia Tegra X1 infotainment system.
This exotic vehicle is powered by a 740-volt lithium-ion battery that in turn powers a pair of sequential axial flux motors that pump out up to 500 hp and 1000 pounds-feet of torque. These specs allow the car to attain a top speed of 193 km/h and sprint from zero to 60 miles per hour in only 3.4 seconds.
The Renovo coupe will cost a cool $529,000.
