FOSS, a streetwear brand that's based in China, collaborated with one of America's most loved athletic companies for a pair of Reebok sneakers that show the upper covered with bananas.
In order to do so, the two took a popular Reebok sneaker model, dubbed the Instapump Fury, and adapted its colorway and usually pattern-free look. The collaboration follows another change to the model which saw the company infuse the sneaker with punk-inspired spikes. In contrast to this however, the banana-covered Reebok sneakers is much more cheerful, with the mostly black and white colorway complemented by a large yellow fruit on the back of the heel.
With this, FOSS and Reebok ensure that the adaptation isn't too overpowering, which is especially important given the statement-making structure of the sneakers.
