Skate Culture Editorials

The Reebok Classic Stylist Project Pays Tribute to the Sneaker Brand

Highsnobiety enlisted London-based stylist Atip W to produce the latest editorial in its Reebok Classic Stylist Project. The assignment is intended to showcase the popularity of the brand amongst London's thriving skate community. With Atip W at the helm, the photo series is able to do so effortlessly, and without compromising W's vision of the brand while at it.

The sneakers (the Workout Clean, NPC UK, Ex-O-Fit Clean and the womens’ Princess Keith Haring) are accompanied by modern pieces such as varsity jackets and bucket hats, safely situating them in their rightful place within British skate culture. Browsing these images, it's easy to see how the cushioned, flat-soled sneakers have made their mark as a time-honored staple.

The colorful editorial was shot in a London skate park on a dusky summer evening.
