The Red Apple Nike Collection For NYC is Deliciously Vibrant & Sweet

Nike recently released its Red Apple Nike collection inspired by New York city and its famous slogan "the Big Apple." Taking the city's iconic saying literally, the Red Apple Nike collection features an apple-themed color scheme full of bright reds and electric greens, perfect for the hotter summer months.

The Red Apple Nike collection features a baseball cleat shoe, the Nike Free 5.0 sneakers and a pair of sports gloves. Each item is stylishly designed with a mixture of white, red and green colors to embody the collection's fruity apple emblem. My favorite item is the Nike Free 5.0 sneakers that feature a bold red mesh silhouette with a white and green sole.

The Red Apple Nike collection also cleverly ties in with the the New York's Mets baseball team tradition that everything a player scores a home run, a massive red apple appears on the center field wall.
