For Spring/Summer 2019, contemporary streetwear label The Incorporated takes a stab at social media values through a rebellious fashion collection. The capsule tackles the alienation and social value that is aggressively perpetuated through online presences. Each silhouette is oversized and carries a direct message.
The Incorporated calls its rebellious fashion collection 'NOBODY LIKES ME,' which Hignbsnobiety points out is a reference to an American children's song — 'Nobody Likes Me, everybody hates me, guess I'll go eat worms.' While the messaging of the Spring/Summer 2019 capsule is surely out there, the mix of nostalgia and the hint at online alienation will surely draw attention to The Incorporated's latest contribution to streetwear style.
