The Qudi Mask Unveiled at CES 2022 Uses Smart LEDs to Express Emotion

Face masks have undergone a transformation within the last few years and the Qudi Mask bills itself as the world's first emotional LED mask. One of the main concerns with the majority of face masks is that they are opaque and that makes it difficult to read another person's emotions.

The Qudi Mask sets itself apart with a design that displays an open mouth as the user speaks, and 199 smart LEDs that convey smiles, frowns and more. In Robot Mode, there are six moods: love, smiling, shocked, confused, angry, as well as a cat face. Additionally, when the Qudi Mask is in Equalizer Mode, the mask syncs to the music streaming on a smartphone.
