'Fabulous Pugs' is a book by Lisa Knapp that contains nothing but pictures of pugs dressed up as famous people such as Genghis Khan and Napoleon.

The canine ‘actress-model’ Knapp chose is a pug named Charlie who must be super-tolerant, judging by some of these shots. The 'Star Trek' one is my absolute favorite.

Implications - With the pet industry growing increasingly involved in products that aim to turn pets into people, it's no wonder that consumers are seeking ways to place a personality on cuddly critters--whether it be in real life or online through photo shop. These photos represent more than something cute, they represent the consumer urge for companionship and affection.
