Karen Creed-Thompson knows that though there are many joys in having a child, diaper changing doesn't exactly rank high on most enjoyable moment. It's part of the reason why this mum of two from Kitchener, ON decided to invent the revolutionary Puddle Pad. Changing the way you change diapers, the Puddle Pad is a no-mess, no-stress portable pad for changing babies diapers. Thula Inc. (pronounced Too-la), is the company, that sells the Puddle Pad as two-piece kit, which includes a rubber mat and cloth pad. It retails for just over $45CDN. This "mompreneur" used her knowledge of marketing, branding and distribution, and with the help of a little investment in materials, and a lot of hard work, Puddle Pads are soon to be sold nationwide.
