Property AI Agents

DoorLoop Adds an Agent That Answers Tenant Texts Around the Clock

DoorLoop is expanding its property-management AI with the 'Receptionist Agent,' a built-in assistant for property managers that answers tenant texts and portal messages 24/7. It uses lease details, account balances and other records already in DoorLoop to handle routine questions and routes only sensitive or out-of-policy issues to staff.

The agent also supports multilingual conversations, providing tenants with replies in their preferred language while showing managers an English translation. Each exchange is logged in DoorLoop, which keeps a record of what the agent handled and what still needs attention. DoorLoop customers on the 'Connect' or 'Multiply' plans can use it now.

Availability within plans that already handle leasing, payments and maintenance turns tenant messaging into a built-in workflow instead of a separate AI add-on. That reduces inbox labor for property management companies and helps larger operators apply the same policies across teams and locations.
