Rather than going the conventional route of sending out his resume, this creative promotional campaign from Max Kurstjens appeals to prospective employers in a new way.
Finding that it was extremely difficult to capture the attention of a prospective employer in the usual way, Kurstjens set out to create something that they absolutely couldn't miss. Inspired by hijacking an agency's hashtag on social media, Kurstjens' campaign floods the Instagram feeds of agencies like Leo Burnett, DDB Worldwide and TBWA. Images posted to Instagram with these tags direct viewers to 'We Have Your Hashtag,' a site that shows hashtags "held hostage" and being tortured in various ways. In order to prevent any more danger from being done to the hashtags, all the agencies had to do was reach out and get in touch with Kurstjens.
