The Butterball PREMIUM SNACKS are a new range of snacking products from the brand that will help it to foray into the world of snack varieties and help to streamline consumer access to high-protein options. The new products consists of individual servings that are made with slices of seasoned turkey breast and paired with sweet and savory sides that will enhance the flavor profile of the protein. This includes such options as Cajun Style, Thanksgiving and Citrus Teriyaki, which are packaged with cornbread crisp and dried apple pieces, stuffing bites and dried cranberries, and sesame sticks and dried pineapple pieces, respectively.
The products were explained further by Innovation Brand Manager, Emerging Innovation at Butterball Michelle Lieszkovsky who said, "Snacking is a popular category that is already filled with many protein options, so we challenged ourselves to find a way to make Butterball PREMIUM SNACKS stand out on the shelf. Moving away from the typical cheese and cracker varieties or the protein-only options often found in the snacking space allowed us to venture into more complex flavor combinations and offer unexpected snack components like cornbread crisps and dried pineapple.
